Week 1: Introduction to the magazine and define what is Sustainability.

Week 2: Review older versions of the magazine noting things that were done in those iterations of the magazine. Generate ideas for articles for the magazine.

Week 3: Sign up for articles and start the initial writing process for the articles.

Week 4: Explain the style guide and its usage in writing and editing process of the magazine. Assign sections of the style guide for edits and updates.

Week 5: Article submissions are due at the end of the week.

Week 6: Ranking of article submissions. Explain the process of developmental editing. Assign articles for each person to edit.

Week 7: Developmental Editing finished by the end of the week.

Week 8: Process of learning InDesign. Designing of master pages for the magazine.

Week 9: Page layouts are developed and turned in by the end of the week.

Week 10: Copy editing of each article that is in the magazine.

Week 11: Final page layouts and revisions are due by the end of the week.

Week 12: Magazine walkthrough done by the class and Files are sent to publisher for quotes and publisher is selected by the end of the week.

Week 13: Proof is reviewed by class to make sure there is no problems with the magazine.

Week 14: Style guide revisions is due. Last edits on proof are done before being approved to be printed.

Week 15: Magazine Critique when the printed magazines arrive. Pizza party (optional)
